The current ATP project takes the following pillars of action:
- Strengthening the Portuguese TCI’s presence in the markets that are at the forefront of sustainability and innovation (Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Spain)
- Adapt and digitalize the communication and marketing processes of the Portuguese TCI in order to attract a younger audience, which displays a greater awareness of environmental and social issues that greatly influence their purchase decisions and recommendation of a certain product;
- Creation of a segment, workshops and events in order to bring together SME producers, and the sector’s main decision makers and investors, establishing lines of action for the future success of the sector in Portugal, in order to increase its international recognition;
- Participation in the main European events in the fashion sector where the issue of sustainability is considered essential for success, in order to establish through ATP contacts and partnerships that will assist the Portuguese producers in the long term in its evolution and recognition.
- Implementation of a Product Origin Label, which acts as a product origin certification, promoting and preserving the quality certification of the Portuguese textile products, distinguishing Portuguese fashion products on the world market and allowing consumers to identify the origin of these products accurately;
- Position Portuguese fashion in the sustainability paradigm in order to embrace new markets where the green theme is very relevant, as well as consolidating those in which it already operates;
